Access point Ubiquiti UniFi U7-LR (U7-LR)

The Ubiquiti UniFi U7-LR U7-LR is a next-generation WiFi 7 Access Point from the UniFi series, designed for extended coverage in large environments such as offices, conference rooms, and commercial spaces.

This AP delivers total speeds of up to 4.9 Gbps across dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with 5 spatial streams (3x3 MU-MIMO on 5 GHz and 2x2 on 2.4 GHz) and WiFi 7 (802.11be) support. Maximum speeds are 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. It covers up to 160 m² and supports over 300 concurrent connected devices.

On the hardware side, it features a single 2.5 GbE RJ45 port and is powered via PoE (42.5-57V DC) with a maximum consumption of 14W. In some markets it includes a PoE adapter, while in others it requires a compatible PoE switch or injector.

Dimensions are Ø175.7 x 43 mm and it weighs 448 g. Its compact design, built from polycarbonate and aluminum alloy, allows for ceiling or wall mounting with an included mounting kit. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to 60°C.

This access point supports advanced features such as Meshing, Band Steering, Fast Roaming (802.11r/k/v), and WPA3 security. Management is done through the UniFi Network application (version 9.1.120 and later).
